The G.P.S. Electronic Navigation class is designed to introduce global
positioning systems to boaters, hunters, pilots, and snow mobile riders.
This course is structured to be relevant to all who may use electronic
navigation and covers issues particular to each user. The class includes
"hands on" workshop activities with an emphasis on practical navigation.
The course reviews basic charting and navigation, since those skills are
the foundation of electronic navigation. Also covered, are conditions
affecting G.P.S. performance. Exercises are presented in charting, course
plotting, and position fixing.
